Had an old friend find me online and he asked me to build a bike for him.Starting with a Honda-matic CB400 donor.Lookin to get started on the plastic surgery on Monday.

Got the Yami' running last night and picked up one big SOB of an fairing today, we'll see what happens...

Looks like the return of the Toe Cuter, might just name it the Turd Cuter!

Black Friday - the CB Chop

We got together Friday at Paul's place to get to work on the CB.The plan was to have the bike running by the end of the night.The mission was accomplished and it sounded great.It will be on the road soon and I can't wait to try it out and get it up to speed on a straight away.

Spent my day hunting...

Progressing nicely...
Got a little more done today.The water return pipe was right in line with where we are running one of the exhaust pipes so we had to make a new one.A few weldable elbows from the plumbing supply worked just fine.Tomorrow we should be able to get the exhaust done now that we know where the water pipe is.More to come.

Dancing the jig
Hit a wall today,nothing big,all fixed now but we lost a day and had to start the front end again.Mocked up a jig this time and made the cuts but tired,been at it all day,so I'll get back to it later.The front end WILL be on tomorrow!

Made it adjustable for lining up the height but for the rest it's a matter of measuring off the frame and axles and moving the jig to line it up.

 More Progress
Had a tough time with header since their hard to find and a stoke one won't work for us anyway...
Started on the flanges today,almost done.It was just hot today so I'll finish up tomorrow.Plus we should be picking up the neck tomorrow from the machine shop so the front end should be on by Fri.

Makin some progress

Well the last week or so has been a b!tch but we made some progress on the garage project.Got some sh!t made up and picked up new parts although Brucie @ C.C.C. F#$ked us on the front end this week but he's such a nice guy what the hell,we'll just wait...WTF!Got the new Hurst shifter today and that was a sh!t show but it'll work.Got the engine mounts welded up pretty,and there mounted and look great.The new air shocks are all ready to go for tomorrow and once we do get the front end back and get it all stitched into place we'll be rollin.

 Did I mention how hot it was this week?

Made some progress today

Got the rear rails welded up and the new alternator mounted properly on the garage project.Tomorrow I gotta run to the airport at 5am to make a drop and a pic then to the vineyard to drop off the girls.I might get back to it by 11am and with the 4th coming I need to step up the production.

OK,no more B.S. Back to it tomorrow!
Well after all the bull shit we had to do this week we are getting back to the garage project.Picked up some steel today and a few more parts.Tomorrow we get back to work on the frame.
