 Driver held in Calif motorcycle crash...

SAN DIEGO (AP)-A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he slammed his car head-on into a group of motorcycle riders celebrating their club's 10th anniversary, killing four motorcyclists and his companion, authorities said Sunday. But they also are looking for another driver who they say played a role in the crash.Carlos Ramirez Bobadilla, 36, was arrested when officers smelled alcohol on his breath about five hours after the Saturday crash, said California Highway Patrol Officer DeeAnn Goudie. Ramirez, one of six injured in the collision on a remote desert highway, was recovering from hand fractures at a San Diego hospital, Goudie said.Results of a blood test were pending, and it was unclear if the driver's alleged alcohol consumption contributed to the collision, Goudie said, but he was arrested on a misdemeanor and is not being held responsible for the deaths based on evidence collected so far.Authorities were looking for the driver of a gold Honda Civic who forced Ramirez off the road when trying to pass the motorcyclists on the undivided two-lane highway east of San Diego.

Another nice day...

 As long as you don't break down right.Well that happens from time to time like today when a couple of guy,some I knew,some I just met,were heading by the house when problems started.
 I got a call as I was heading down the stairs to head out for my own ride that one of the guys clutches was on the fritz so I told them to roll it over and put it on the lift for a look.Nothing big,a simple adjustment later and they were looking good.I held off going with since I've been short on funds the last few weeks and watched them roll out seven deep down rt6.

 The ol' lady had come home and still sick had all the laundry going up stairs so I gave her a hand and headed back out to the garage to pick up the tool.She was heading back out to finish the rest and so I said fuck it and headed for rt105 to maybe catch the fellas at the Pondo.Made it there in record time just to catch them finishing their beers to head out again.We rode up through lakeville up and around the ponds into Middleboro.After a quick pit stop for a electrical problem on one of the bikes we kept movin till we hit rt28,hung a left and headed for the Shooter half way back to Wareham.
-Note-not the Shooter in Wareham.That place can kiss my ass!

 Long story short,we stopped,I had a beer on Tony (thanks homie) I headed out for Ciderville to Dirty' but that's another story...

 Ran into my brother Gike at the bar,see we're step brothers and both of us are Mike so...
Hadn't seen the Rat-Shovel out and about in a while.

Movie night...

The ol' lady has been sick for the last few days so I decided to stay in with hergot us some food from the pizza place across the street and got a movie off the box.We went with Grown Ups since neither of us has seen it and they filmed some of it in our town,Wareham,MA.(@ Water Wizz) were they do the water park scenes.It was funny,no Happy Gilmore but good.I would say pick it up if you want a laugh .Here are some highlights...

Five killed in California crash

(CNN) -- Five people were killed and six others seriously injured when a car struck a group of 12 motorcycles on a California desert highway Saturday.
"I was one of the first emergency officials on the scene. Of my 23 years on the department, it was the most devastating scene I've been to, and I've seen a lot of fatal accidents," said Deeann Goudie, a spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol.
Police are searching for another car, which left the scene of the afternoon accident.
Goudie said they got a 911 call from one of the motorcyclists.The motorcycles were on a highway in El Centro, Imperial County, just east of San Diego, when a gold Honda Civic tried to pass them, police said.Goudie said the Honda passed the motorcycles, but a Dodge Avenger swerving to avoid hitting the Honda struck the motorcycles head on.Four motorcyclists and a passenger in the Avenger died on the scene. Five of the six people injured were in serious condition, Goudie said."The gold Honda Civic left the scene without stopping and police want to talk with that driver," Goudie said. "We're looking for a 1995 to 2000 model-year gold Honda Civic."
The bikers are part of the Saddle Tramps motorcycle group in Lakeside, California. They were taking a casual ride on their Harley-Davidsons to celebrate the group's 10th anniversary.

Headed over to Gomer's today to meet up with Josh and shoot the shit over a few beers.Paul didn't make it till later in the after noon since he drank enough booze to kill a rhino the night before.We had some home made shine and a lot of laughs it was a good time.After a lot of talk about getting some projects finished we have decided to team up on a few things to get things rollin,more to come on that.Here is a taste of the non sense today.

Today worked out.Picked up Paul's new CB project,got some lunch,saw Jackass 3,had a ton of drinks and no one got arrested...

Paul picked up a new project bike to build for our buddy Brady,who has no business bein on a bike.By the time we got it to his house after getting cocked at Jackass 3 the night ended with the garage getting trashed.

Headin home...

Suns out after a week of rain,can't wait to get back on the bike.Headin to Norton,MA. to meet up with Paul to pick up a CB 360 then to J.L.'s.From there we're off for some beers and then to Jackass 3...Gonna be a wild day!
