I working on setting up a poker run...
Start off in Wareham at Gilda's and out through r105 to thePondo.Then up through Middleboro.And then down though Plymouth and the Bay area.I'll spread the word when I get it all set up.

Forgot this from one the other night.
So at about 1am we started a game of LCR.It was 4 of us at the table with five chips a piece.I'm not sure of this rule since I have alway's played that the last with chips,or ones.Well Billy's ol' lady Jamie say's to win even if your the last one with chips you have to roll a C,one for every chip.Like say if you have one chip you have to roll one,two for two and three for three or more and then you get all the chips in the pot.Well I had the last chips on the table.Jamie starts lippin off at me about how I ain't gonna win and that I had to roll three C's and how impossible it was and what not...Well I got three!
Stayed up till about 3:30am and had the ride to R.I. the next day at 9am.Good time!

Great F'in day in R.I.!
We,Josh,Paul and me, headed out for R.I. this morning at about 9am,well those of us who aren't pussy's and showed up anyway.Took r6 strait out of my driveway heading south for Little Compton.Got down to Henry's place with in a hour or so,good ride too.Hung out at the shop for a bit BSin' with Henry and Ryan,Henry's son and playin fetch with the dogs when Lou and C.J.,a few of the Butcher Shop boys rolled in.We all hung out yappin away about bike shit for over an hour and then decided it was time to go for a ride.
We rolled down to Sakonnet point in R.I. for a bit and another BS session.
Then we made a stop by there buddy's place up the street a way for an impromptu party on the side of the road in front of there house.Notice the Package store right next to the house!
That's about it,road back to Henry's,had one more beer for the road and we headed back to MA. The three of us made good time since we were all hung over and tired and just wanted to get home a.s.a.p.
We'll be setting up a run soon with all these guy's so if you hear a rumbling coming up your street in the near future...Hide the women and lock up the beer!

The Dave Perewitz Open House

After the Swap this morning we headed out to the open house.Was nice to see the Prohibited Garage guy's there,Phil,Jon-mike and A.C.Also my buddy Noah on his third tall boy,brown baggin it,Mr Weaver that had to go get new cabinets with the wife and Thanks to Paul for runnin out with me.Again,not to many pics but I was on the go with no time for photography.The miles ahead of us had to be dealt a swift kick to the head!For those coming tomorrow for the R.I. run,see you in the A.M.!

Avon Cobra AV72 Being Recalled
Mac-Trac Recalls Avon Motorcycle Tires
Headlines, Recalls May 14, 2010 Max-Trac is recalling certain Avon Cobra AV72 motorcycles tires, size 240/50R16 84V, produced from October 11 through November 7, 2009. These tires fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No 119, “New Pneumatic Tires for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of more than 4,536 kilograms (10,000 Pounds) and Motorcycles.” Separation of the breaker / ply can occur resulting in early failure. Should this occur, the tread may separate from the tire casing increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Avon Tyres will notify owners and replace the tires free of charge, including mounting and balancing. The safety recall is expected to begin during May 2010. HAND BRAKE
When Kevin Myatt dropped his chain powering into Dragons Tail in Whakarewarewa a few days ago he couldn’t in his wildest dreams have imagined how the slam would unfold. After sliding along the ground he realised the bike was still with him and glancing down at his wrist he soon realised why. His brake lever had slid up his arm (slicing it open on the way) and then pierced the skin on his wrist surfacing a few centimetres later, as Kevin puts it, he was now “at one with his bike”. More after the jump (not for the squeamish)…
His riding buddies Julia and Tim called the ambulance and quickly removed the brake lever and caliper from the bike whilst Kevin Stemmed the blood flow from his own wrist. Now I’m pretty sure that you like me have never seen this type of wound before, as it happens neither had any of Rotorua’s health professionals, starting with the ambo guys; when one realised there wasn’t enough light to shoot a good photo he instructed his partner to use the flashlight to illuminate it better. Kevin didn’t fare much better at Rotorua hospital either where at least 10 hospital staff heard about the brake lever and turned up with personal cameras and cell phones.
Even the radiologist who had been on strike admitted on seeing the wound that she was glad she came in to work!!! A general anesthetic and 15 stitches later, Kevin was good to go. As soon as the stitches are out he’ll be back in the forest and is not deterred one ounce by his freakish (yet slightly entertaining) wound.

MMA Boston Parking Announcement
The Massachusetts Motorcycle Association (MMA) is pleased to announce that major progress has been made in solving the many parking problems that riders face when riding in Boston. For almost six months the MMA has been working with the Boston Transportation Department on solving these problems. The announcement has been made that beginning this Summer a pilot program will be instituted around Newbury and Boylston Streets where a dozen or so metered spaces will be partitioned into motorcycle slots of 4 spaces each, resulting in almost 50 new motorcycle-only parking spaces. We are also working on getting full access to all the parking garages in Boston, where currently only 2 garages allow motorcycle parking. If the pilot program is successful, other motorcycle parking spots will be created in 2011. The City of Boston has been very open to suggestions and your MMA will continue to fight for motorcycle recognition and your rights in Boston. This success builds on previous experience with Park Plymouth, a highly popular waterfront area. The MMA negotiated an agreement allowing up to 4 motorcycles to park under one paid parking permit in a single space, improving parking conditions for motorcyclists.
